Blue Cave Adventure is one of our favorite Kotor boat tours. That’s because it showcases the best of what the Bay of Kotor has to offer.
After swimming in a magnificent sea cave, you’ll get to see two islands with unique stories, a secret submarine tunnel, and a panoramic view of Perast.
Blue Cave Group Speed Boat Tour Highlights
We start from Kotor and head straight to the Blue Cave. This is our first stop where you can enjoy 20 minutes of swimming in stunning surroundings.
The Blue Cave, situated at Lustica Peninsula, is faithful to its name. The shades of blue you can see inside this cavern are really out of this world.
After the refreshing break in the crystal clear waters of the Blue Cave, we continue our tour with a panoramic view of Mamula Island.
Proceeding ahead we will stop and enter one of the three submarine tunnels located nearby. Now out of use, these tunnels were built by the Yugoslav Navy to keep submarines and smaller ships out of sight.
The last stop of the tour is Lady of the Rocks. The iconic little island is located opposite Perast with a church built in 1630. is a sight to behold. The history of the island is no less intriguing than its beauty.
On the way back to Kotor you’ll be treated to a panoramic view of Perast, a UNESCO heritage site.

If you want to have a trip around Kotor, then I absolutely recommend a boat trip which can take you to lots of places, it cost an average of €30 to €35 per person, it's worthwhile with adding views and iconic locations
Very enjoyable tour with George from Serbia. stepping in to help his friend. He was very knowledgeable, communicated well and speaks English. He had good music to fill in the times of travel and turned off to tell you about where we had stopped.
The best part of our visit to Montenegro this summer! Starting at the beautiful Kotor Bay, first we visited Our Lady of the Rocks, where we had plenty of time to walk around a bit. Then we visited one of the submarine caves, after which we went out to the open sea and sailed past Island Mamula (from some distance). The swim at the Blue Caves was an awesome way to end the tour. Thanks also to the enthusiastic boat crew who did a great job in showing these awesome places!
A boat tour is a "must do" when you visit Kotor or the surrounding area. Then, of course, you choose the #1 of the numerous tour providers. There is a choice of tours of varying lengths, whether as a group or private tour. The best seller is probably the 3 hour tour to the Blue Cave, passing old submarine bunkers, an island with a Casino Hotel in an old fortress, Our Lady of the rocks and the indescribably beautiful landscape. The speed boats are modern, the captain and crew are young and humorous, yet experienced and safety conscious. An unforgettable day with the highlight of swimming in the Blue Cave and cool music on board. Perfect, wonderful. If you book online in advance you get a 5€ discount per person. Thanks guys for this experience.
We took a tour of the bay in a boat for 11 people. There were even fewer passengers, there was a lot of space and we were comfortable. The captain was very nice, provided the passengers with water and told about the sights.Unfortunately, there were strong waves that day, and we could not get into the Blue Cave. The boat was new and clean. We were completely on schedule.I advise this tour and this company, it's a beautiful trip and it's worth the money.
We really enjoyed our Blue Cave, Lady of the Rocks etc, short speed boat tour! The Blue Cave and the surrounding waters were beautiful and great for a refreshing dip. Our skipper, Vladimir was funny, efficient and well-informed. The ride was smooth and beautiful. Definitely worth the price. I wish I had more time to do another tour!
