Description

Our Lady of the Rocks & Perast speed boat tour is the perfect way to spend an afternoon while in Kotor. Both Perast and the island of Our Lady of the Rocks are a must-see, but the ride on the way there in a speed boat is no less interesting. Book a private tour with us and enjoy an experience tailored specifically to you.

Our Lady of the Rocks & Perast Speed Boat Tour Highlights

We start the tour at the Port of Kotor. On our way to Perast, we will be cruising through the Bay of Kotor. Along the way, you’ll get to experience some of the best views in the area. The steep mountains in sharp contrast with the dreamy fishing villages along the coast create a constant feast for the eyes.

We’ll make two stops on this trip, both of which might make you feel like you just travelled backwards in time. The fist stop is Our Lady of the Rocks, an artificial island close to the old town of Perast. The tiny island is home to a 15th-century church and a small museum. Besides the astounding beauty, this island also has a very interesting origin story.

The second part of the tour involves a walking tour of Perast. Today a UNESCO heritage site, Perast packs a surprising amount of Baroque villas and churches for a settlement of this size. You don’t need to be an architecture geek, though, in order to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of this quiet town.

NOTE: This is the tour price for up to 6 people. For over 6 people, tour price increases for 15 euros per passenger.

Our experience with Chris was great, we toured Kotor and the coast in a very nice way with a tour of 4 people, definitely worth 20 Euros and I recommend it.

We loved this experience, even though the weather wasn't on our side at first. The boat driver, Chris, was super cool and very kind. The scenery was magnificent. Be careful, however, to plan to leave well in advance if you're not staying in Kotor. Getting into the town is a nightmare... 40 minutes to cover 4 km. And then you have to find parking. I recommend taking the car at the beginning of the town because otherwise the traffic jams get longer. Finding the boat is a little further than what Booking.com suggests. You have to continue along the dock until you find a small park, and there you'll see all the boats leaving. Luckily, we came across some friendly people who gave us directions... finally, after all these adventures, we got our boat on time. The rain stopped, and it was great.
