Your questions, answered.

Welcome to Speedboat Montenegro! Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our boat tours, meeting point, parking, payments, and more. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us directly.

We are based at Limitless Speed Boat Kotor, with our tour boats departing from the Park Slobode Dock in Kotor, Montenegro — right on the seaside promenade at Park Slobode 1, 85330 Kotor 🇲🇪. This is a well-known public park area on the water’s edge, just outside the historic Old Town (Stari Grad) and immediately next to the Port of Kotor.

Our meeting point is easy to find, and you’ll see our branded speedboats and staff waiting at the water’s edge near the park.

🔹 Address: Park Slobode 1, Kotor 85330, Montenegro
🔹 Coordinates: 42.4265314, 18.7680783

How to find us if you arrive by cruise ship:

  1. Exit the cruise terminal area of the Port of Kotor.
  2. Turn left and follow the waterfront promenade toward the Old Town.
  3. Within approximately 4–5 minutes’ walk, you’ll arrive at Park Slobode. Look for the green park area beside the sea — that’s where our speedboats are docked.

How to find us from the Old Town:

  1. Exit the Old Town via the main Sea Gate.
  2. Turn right onto the promenade and walk toward Park Slobode.
  3. You’ll see our meeting point right by the water within a short walk.

Yes, paid parking is available, but please note that Kotor is a very busy town, especially during summer.

Parking options:

  • Paid public parking near Kamelija Shopping Center
  • Paid parking zones around the Old Town
  • Private garages nearby (limited spaces)

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes earlier if you are coming by car, to allow time for parking and walking to the meeting point. Parking lots in the center of Kotor are very busy during the summer, so you may need to wait in line for 15 minutes to enter — please calculate this time when planning your arrival.

We recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure time. This gives you enough time to:

  • Find Park Slobode Dock (we also send a map pin and photos)
  • Take care of any last-minute questions or paperwork
  • Get settled on the boat before departure

If you are driving, we suggest arriving 30 minutes early, because parking in Kotor can be busy — especially during peak season. If you’re arriving from a cruise ship, plan your walk from the dock so you’re at Park Slobode at least 15 minutes before your tour start time.

If you’re travelling to Kotor from another town in Montenegro (for example Podgorica, Budva, Tivat or Herceg Novi), it’s a good idea to plan ahead and leave much earlier than Google Maps suggests.

🛣️ Roads in Montenegro — especially the coastal and bay routes — can become very busy with traffic, particularly during the summer season and peak hours in the afternoon. Congestion and slower driving conditions are common on popular routes such as from Budva or Tivat to Kotor, and due to road works or seasonal traffic build-up.

📍 Tips to avoid stress on the road:

  • Double the travel time Google Maps estimates during busy summer months — so if it says 1 hour, allow 1.5 – 2 hours.
  • Avoid driving at peak hours (typically late morning to late afternoon).
  • If you’re heading inland or crossing regional routes, be aware there may also be road works or single-lane stretches that slow traffic.

Planning extra time will help you arrive relaxed and ready for your tour — and ensure you don’t feel rushed trying to meet your departure time. 🚤

We recommend bringing:

  • Towel
  • Sunscreen 🧴
  • Sunglasses 🕶️
  • Hat or cap 👒
  • Swimwear 👙
  • Camera or phone 📸
  • Water

Optional but useful:

  • Light jacket (especially in spring or late afternoon)
  • Waterproof phone case

Please note: On group tours, we do not recommend eating food on board the speedboat. However, if you choose to bring snacks with you, you are welcome to enjoy them during the stop on the island.

A group tour means:

  • You share the boat with other guests
  • The tour follows a fixed route and schedule
  • It’s a more budget-friendly option

Group tours are perfect if you want to meet other travelers and enjoy the experience at a lower price.

A private tour means:

  • The boat is reserved only for you and your group
  • Flexible departure time
  • Customizable route and stops
  • More privacy and comfort

Private tours are ideal for families, couples, friends, special occasions, or anyone who wants a personalized experience.

We offer flexible payment options:

  • Cash or Card payment (EUR) on the day of the tour
  • Online payment (if arranged in advance)

Payment details will be clearly explained during the booking process.

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure may be charged
  • In case of bad weather or unsafe sea conditions, the tour will be rescheduled or fully refunded

Your safety and comfort always come first.
